Jukebox Hero overview This unique experience allows adults of any age and experience level to give in to their dream of being a Rock Star! For 6 weeks, one evening a week, our adult rockers will get coached by some of the most talented and road experienced musicians in the industry. Participants can expect to learn an instrument from scratch or perfect one they already are familiar with. You’ll learn stage performance, working as a band, song selection, Social Media, ticket sales, and more.  The 6 week event culminates in a full on Rock Showcase Battle of the Bands.  The winning band will get the opportunity for a 5 hour recording session to create their own music project!  So grab your ripped jeans and unleash your inner Rock Star and become a Jukebox Hero with us. What can I expect? Registrants will be formed into bands of similar ability and assigned a seasoned band manager who will guide them through the band formation process as they prepare to perform for the final “Battle of the Bands” concert on Sunday, March 16. During the 6 weeks of Tuesday Evening (7:00-9:00pm) rehearsals, bands will be coached by professionals on how to play, sing work as a band and perform.. Bands will also be guided through naming the band, choosing songs, promoting the band, how to get a local gig, instrument and equipment choices, writing songs and much, much more. What is the Goal? These bands will be competing for the headline spot at the final showcase/battle of the bands. Besides landing all the bragging rights (and guys we know how important that is), the winning band will be awarded the opportunity to play a set between nationally headlined bands at a major concert event and a five hour recording session to mix a CD of your own. Do I already have to be able to play or sing? We have a beginner and more advanced track so your current ability level doesn’t matter. Maybe you played pretty well at one time. Our instructors can help you get your chops back.
